Pygmy Marmoset at Beardsley Zoo

This entry is part 6 of 6 in the series Beardsley Zoo

Pygmy Marmoset at Beardsley Zoo, Bridgeport, Connecticut

Pygmy Marmoset

In my visit to the Beardsley Zoo in the fall of last year, I took a few photos of this Pygmy Marmoset.  This was probably the most camera shy animal I saw at the zoo.  It was fine when I was just looking, but when I raised the camera, it would jump behind the branch.  I was lucky enough to capture this one.  These Pygmy Marmosets are almost unbelievably small.
