Stone Wall Across Roaring Brook

This entry is part 2 of 4 in the series Roaring Brook

Stone Wall across Roaring Brook in Cheshire, Connecticut

Stone Wall across Roaring Brook in Cheshire, Connecticut

This small waterfall created by a stone wall is downstream from Roaring Brook Falls in the Cheshire Land Trust located in Cheshire, Connecticut.  I’m not sure what this stone wall or foundation was original built for, but I’m guessing it had something to do with the stream (maybe an old mill foundation?).  This area of Roaring Brook is relatively easy to access and is very nice.
