Spurce Brook Falls in Naugatuck State Forest

Spurce Brook Falls in Naugatuck State Forest

Yesterday after Thanksgiving Dinner, I took a short drive to the Naugatuck State Forest in Beacon Falls, Connecticut.  One reason I went here was because it’s an easy drive from my house;  however, I was shocked at the beauty of Spruce Brook and Spurce Brook Falls, both located inside of the forest.

Of all the waterfalls I’ve been to in Connecticut, this one is high on the list.  It’s definitely not the largest I’ve seen, but it sure is picturesque.  Because I went so late in the day, I was a little pressed for time (and daylight).  Another area to add to the list to visit again in the future (that list is starting to get pretty long).

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and enjoy Black Friday.
