Waterfall at Southford Falls State Park

Waterfall at Southford Falls State Park

Here’s a photo from Southford Falls State Park in Southington, Connecticut that I took about this time last year.  I have a previous post of the waterfall (you can visit that post here), but now that I’m using the Nik Software plug-ins for Lightroom, I like this photo much better.  For some reason, this photo seems to have more depth and life than my previous post.  That’s one (of many things) that I like about photography – it’s a journey to continue to improve and to find that next great shot.

Southford Falls State Park is a nice little park with close access to a major road and easy to moderate trails.  I like it so much, I think I’m going to go back soon and do some more exploring and photography.  I highly recommend a visit to Southford Falls.
