Dinosaur State Park, Rocky Hill Connecticut

About a month ago, I stopped at Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill, Connecticut and took the photos below.  It’s a pretty cool place with a dome shaped exhibit hall that houses dioramas, specimens, and nature exhibits.  The park was opened in 1968 after construction workers discovered dinosaur tracks during excavation.  They’ve preserved many of the tracts which are located inside the exhibit hall.  There are also several miles of trails, which I didn’t get to walk.

Overall, a very interesting place and one I recommend to anyone interested in natural history.
