Autumn meets Winter: October Snow Storm 2011

Well, the October Snow Storm of 2011 is now past Connecticut, but it sure left a lot of damage.  Many homes in Connecticut, as well as other nearby states, have lost power and our governor is saying that some homes may not be restored for a week.  I was one of the lucky ones and only lost power for about 8 hours last night.  My heart goes out to those without power – after hurricane Irene, I was out of power for over 3 days and although it was not a terrible experience, it’s still a pain in the neck.

I was hoping to go out and do some major photography today, but the roads don’t appear to be in great shape and there is still the potential for falling limbs.  So, I think I’ll be finishing up my review of the Learn and Master Photography DVD course.  I finished the course yesterday, so now I’m anxious to post my review.
