Photos of a Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis)

This entry is part 2 of 13 in the series Birds at My Birdfeeder

I recently purchased and installed a Nature Products Model 431 birdfeeder and I’m starting to get quite a few birds visiting.  The great thing about this particular birdfeeder is it’s squirrel proofing.  I’ve had many battles with the squirrels in the past over birdfeeders, but so far, the Nature Products Model 431 is the best feeder I’ve found for fending off those pesky squirrels.

I’ll be writing a review soon of the Nature Products Model 431 feeder, but until then, here are a few photos of a Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) in the backyard today.  I’ll post more tomorrow of some other species that I photographed today.
